TaraHR ("we," "us," "our") operates the TaraNurse AI training platform and the tarahr.com website. TaraNurse is an educational and training application designed to help Filipino nurses and nursing students prepare for the NCLEX-RN examination and the IELTS English language test. Our platform provides AI-powered speech practice, clinical scenario simulations, vocabulary training, and educational resources.
We are not currently operating as a recruitment agency. This application is focused exclusively on nurse education and professional development.

- Photos, camera access, or your contacts
- Biometric data other than voice recordings used solely for AI feedback
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
4.1 To Provide the Educational Service
- Process your voice recordings through AI models (including Whisper speech-to-text and language model APIs) to generate IELTS/NCLEX practice scores and personalized feedback
- Deliver clinical scenario simulations and SBAR handoff practice
- Track your learning progress, session history, and score improvements
- Provide vocabulary training, pronunciation guidance, and grammar corrections
4.2 To Improve Our Platform
- Analyze aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve our AI models and training content
- Identify and fix bugs, crashes, and performance issues
- Develop new features based on how users engage with the app
4.3 To Communicate With You
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
- Deliver product updates, new features, and educational content (with your consent where required)
- Respond to your support requests and inquiries

5. Voice Recordings & AI Processing
Important: How your voice data is handled
When you use our AI speech practice features, your voice recordings are:
- Transmitted securely to our AI processing services (using OpenAI Whisper or equivalent speech-to-text technology)
- Processed to generate a text transcript of your speech
- Analyzed by AI language models to evaluate fluency, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation against IELTS/NCLEX criteria
- Used to generate personalized feedback and a band score estimate
Retention:
Raw audio recordings are not retained permanently. Processed transcripts and feedback scores are stored to enable your progress tracking. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9).
We do not use your voice recordings to build or sell voice profiles. We do not share identifiable audio with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
6.1 Service Providers
We engage third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us. They include:
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure (e.g., Firebase / Google Cloud)
- AI and machine learning APIs (e.g., OpenAI for speech processing)
- Email delivery services
- Analytics providers (aggregated, anonymized data only)
- Payment processors (they handle payment data directly under their own privacy policies)
6.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, prevent fraud, or ensure safety.
6.3 Business Transfers
If TaraHR undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
6.4 With Your Consent
We may share your information with third parties when you have given explicit consent, such as opting into future hospital marketplace features (which will require separate consent and disclosure at the time).

9.3 Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data. To do so, email privacy@tarahr.com with the subject line "Delete My Account." We will process your request within 30 days. Note that some data may be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes.
9.4 Withdrawal of Consent
Where processing is based on consent (e.g., marketing emails), you may withdraw consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
9.5 Opt-Out of Marketing
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email or emailing privacy@tarahr.com.

Age Requirement
TaraNurse is intended for nursing students and qualified healthcare professionals. Our services are not directed at children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us personal information, we will delete it promptly. 11. International Data Transfers
TaraHR operates globally and may process your data in countries outside your home country, including the United States, Taiwan, the Philippines, and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data transfer restrictions, we will ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms, when transferring your data internationally.
